Youth Group - Brand Identity / Logo Design
Shaping early identity concepts and a scalable logo system for a social-purpose enterprise supporting young people aged 18–30.

Context
Youth Group provides free support and services to young people aged 18–30. To sustain this model, they partner with corporate organisations to deliver both social and commercial value. As a social-purpose enterprise (not a charity), they needed a brand identity that clearly reflected who they are today and where they are heading.
Problem
Youth Group needed a brand identity that communicated: • A youthful, energetic presence • A modern, tech-led organisation • A “trust contract” that resonates with both young people and corporate partners • A logo system with the potential to become globally recognisable and scalable across product and brand touchpoints
Why I supported Youth Group
Youth Group’s mission centres on creating opportunities for young people at scale, including access to jobs, mentors, money, and skills. Their ambition to deliver 100 million youth wins by 2040 felt grounded and measurable, not abstract. Their model, combining social impact with commercial partnerships, reflects a practical approach to long-term sustainability. That balance between purpose and execution was a strong motivator for getting involved.
Outcome & impact
A final logo was delivered within a 7 working day turnaround, aligned with agreed success criteria and ready for immediate use. The outcome supported a smooth UK IPO trademark application process, with no delays or issues raised.

Reflection
This project reinforced how much can be achieved in a short timeframe when success criteria are clear and decisions are made collaboratively. Designing an identity for a social-purpose enterprise also highlighted the importance of balancing youthful energy with the credibility required to build trust with corporate partners.
